I purchased this Forgotten Books version since it was the lowest-price available, and while the scanned text is of a decent quality, the high-contrast scanning (I assume not from an original, but probably from a poor copy) renders the illustrations almost useless as a reference. Aside from a few house plans in the book, the illustrations inside don't look like like halftone photos at all (as in the original) but more like super-high-contrast black and white drawings, offering very little detail and large areas where the image dropped out completely. Okay as a last resort - but you might check some of the other "reproduction" publishers to see if they offer better quality.Product details
